[Jamberry] Lacquer ('Sunkissed') First Impressions & Review

Happy Friday! Your resident Jamberry consultant here! I have finally buckled down and tried out the lacquer! It's not because I can't polish my nails or hate nail polish, but that it's safer for my babies if I don't have it on my fingers. My son nearly bit off a chunk of polish off of my finger a year ago so I really needed to avoid it until my kids learned not do that.

Here's a video of my 'unpackaging' and application of the lacquer on one nail:

Now on to the product and swatches!

Here is what it looks like. It comes in a box! Fancy! The color is close to coral, but more reddish. I show what my hands look like sans lacquer, with 1 coat, then 2 coats. I was doing some sort of wear test with the "White Romance" wrap so it acted as my accent nail for these photos. By the way, the wrap is on its 7th day. For a gal with brittle nails that peel even though nothing's being done to them, this is a huge WIN.

Final Thoughts:

This lacquer is pretty good. The formula was flawless and so was its application. The brush was not clumpy and it spread very well so I did not have trouble covering the nail. Full opaque coverage can be achieved in 2 coats, although you could get away with 1 coat if you don't mind subtle VNL. I chose not to do a wear test because my babies would find ways to bite my fingers and I didn't want polish getting in their mouths.
